just catching up on that Sfenn. Stanford would be one team that I would love to see them beat. I was in Dallas at some point..regional?...and watched them beat up on Courtney all game long. Not a big fan of their coach...would be a huge game to win for the ladies considering who they are playing and where they are playing.

I don't like that we are playing Stanford, @ Stanford...I DO like that our next game will be here, in OKC! Elite Eight has a nice ring to it...Bring It HOME, Girls!

Well, I think I jinxed them momentarily! They sure played a great first half! Come on ladies, you can do this!!! Not much of a fan of their coach either!!!

A very young team with a great upside. That is a very hard match up to play who and where. I think the loss to Kansas and Texas were the difference in playing at home versus Palo Alto.

I feel for Sharane!!! She played hard!! We played a great first half. Wish we could have had another one at home, but tough to keep up when they are draining threes, and our shots stop falling!! They will be good next year! Nice season ladies!

The officials called close to a dozen fouls on OU for illegal screens when there was no movement. It got all of our bigs in foul trouble. Stanford was routinely allowed to stick their knee in the OU defender on screens and I don't believe it was ever called.

Because of gender politics, you are going to have a very hard time beating Stanford out there with two women working the game. It's just the way it is. Williams got called for a couple of ticky tack fouls and she was an important part of the OU possibilities, she got her third late in the first half on offense with no advantage on a pass intended for her but intercepted. It's a no call in just about any circumstance. But not tonight. None of the OU bigs was allowed any aggressiveness. It wasn't the same way on the other side.

Stanford is consistently a much taller team that the ones Sherri recruits. It makes for a harder matchup. But I think they'd have had a better shot on a neutral floor or maybe in Norman.

The seeding was interesting. But Texas did overcome at Cal as a four seed and will go to the Sweet . So congrats to the Horns.

Perhaps OU having the least experienced team in the tournament, hitting only 4 of 25 shots during a 16 minute span late in the first half, playing a better team with a Hall of Fame coach....on the road....might have been more problematic for Coale's young team than "gender politics".
