Remember a little over a year ago when we were all drooling over the thought of possibly getting him. Now we have him and most at first including myself thought we grabbed the wrong A&M QB. That was until I looked at his HS tape.
What I saw was a kid who'd have been the #1 QB in the country if he was 6'3. Take in account that last year he was a true freshman who didn't even enroll early yet still started 2 games. People forget how few QBs actually start as true freshman and it's for a good reason.
Kid has a ton of potential and to top it off he's a legend in Texas and will pay huge dividends in recruiting. I really think this guy may have a bright future we just gotta give him time.
