Started to run some numbers because of Kyler’s crazy stats.
Kyler is on pace for(assuming 14 games)
4000 yards passing
49 passing TDs
800 Rushing Yards
10 Rushing TDs
Well obviously that’s all absurd numbers, so I went to look if anyone has ever done that.
Michael Vick never passed for 3000 yards or 30 TDs
Vince Young never had 30 passing TDs
Pat White never had 25 passing TDs
Dennis Dixon never had 30 passing TDs or rushed for 800
Dennard Robinson never passed for 25 TDs or 3000 yards
Kordell Stewart never passed for 15 TDs or 3000 yards
Tim Tebow never threw for 3500 yards or 35 TDs.
Lamar Jackson was the one that came the closest as he threw for 3500 yards in 2016 and had 30 TDs as well as well over 800 yards rushing.
I can’t find one single player who has ever came close to 40-45 TDs, 3700-4000 yards passing, 800 rushing, and 10 Rushing TDs in Division 1 football.
I know Tua is killing it but at some point people have to point to the fact that Kyler is doing something that NO ONE HAS EVEEEER come close to doing in over 100 years of the game of football.
