In the middle of the article:

***In case you are especially dense or humorless, this post is satire. All quotes attributed to real people were fabricated in the author's dull imagination.***

If only it were true lol

Are you telling me I can not believe everything I read on the internet. I saw this on Yahoo's news page. Should I find another home news page or go back to reading the newspaper.

If I can't trust Yahoo who can I trust.

Yeah, Yahoo! probably had the wool pulled over their eyes.

It seems legit at first glance because the news source is a KState fan site itself. When you realize that, then you see that this is a way of KState fans bragging about what good, loud fans they are that support their teams.

I think this must have come about from Bill Self's whining ! Rushing the court, was all I heard on ESPN yesterday. While I get it could be dangerous, and I think you should get the other team off, his whining just has a way of getting on my every nerve!! It has happened over and over, and no one else gotten that kind of press!! Sorta became the talk, instead of the upset!! The more I listen to other coaches in the Big 12, the more grateful I am for ours!!!

I get what you are saying but the KState fans took it to another level. Did you see the kid go out of his way to jump into the back of the KU player starting to walk of the court. Then there was the situation with Self getting trapped up against the scoring table. The sad part was that it wasn't just college kids storming the court you say 40-50 year old men out there also. Maybe it is just me but I do not understand it and especially at my age no way would I be out there. I do believe they need to find a way to get the other team off the court or eventually a student is going to get knocked out (especially if they do what the one kid did at KSU).

Some student has done an Onion style vid which satirizes the criticism of ksu's behavior.

College kids, today.

Oh...........wait...........

........nevaar mind.

I remember in 2011, when OSU alum in 30s and 40s storming the field after beating OU. If I remember correctly one hurt his shoulder and knee and had to have surgery and the individual was out of work for awhile.

Sooners25, I totally agree they did not protect that player or Coach Self. I am glad the fan has been named and will be punished. I am not even a big fan of court storming ( especially for adults, unless maybe a parent :) wanting to hug their kid)!!! Holly Row said that she was at the OSU game, and did not really feel it was much different at all and it did not feel any scarier to her, but one thing Self mentioned and they asked her about, was the team not going to the center of the court. I guess last year it was a buzzer beater and they were by the scorer's table. That is where they headed this time too, except they were ahead for a long time, and security should have been in place much better!!! She said that Webber had shown them the video of last year and told them to remember what if felt like, right before the game, and the celebration was at the scorer's table, so maybe that was why they didn't go to the center. She was really pro storming tough, and said she had been in probably a hundred and wasn't anymore scared and it didn't seem anymore frenzied. I think though when you see the video of the guy going after the player, and Self getting caught and Weber kinda protecting him, you have to say they need to do something!! I just think Self, Mulkey, and few others, are just so annoyingly whiny! But, he was right!!
