I appreciate his contributions to the program and wish him well but, honestly, I believe it's time for an infusion of new blood on that side of the ball. Cooks and Diaco next?
Hard to say if any stay. They all had a hand in the worst defense in OU History.

Time for a major overhaul.
A good defensive line makes your linebackers look a whole lot better. We need some guys up front that can occupy more than one blocker before we can ever expect to see dominant linebacker play.
Laziness and underachieving is contagious, if any of them on the Defensive Staff show symptoms tell em to hit the road.
I'm not sure you're going to get your wish. Reading between the lines of LR's presser tells us that he's not going to be making wholesale changes. But perhaps some will leave on their on.
I thank him for some of the recruits he brought in.

Improvement will come a lot sooner if the defensive staff are of like minds. Whoever survives better get aboard ASAP. That may not be entirely possible.
Saw some stuff that Brian Odom was going to be coaching LB’s (he is a Mizzou coaching buddy of Grinch’s). We’ll see ...
I'd like to thank Coach Kish for all he did for the football program at OU, but I'm not sure he did anything more than just draw a paycheck.
In every group or team, no matter if it's your bowling team or your office staff there is always at least one member that the balance of the group knows doesn't pull his/her weight. LR knows this person(s). He knows you're only as good as your weakest link. LR is all about recruiting. If nobody else leaves, then it would appear that LR is laying the blame of the bad defenses at the feet of MS. The opportunity to replace the weakest link(s) has presented itself. I think more leave.
Who has a "top shelf" that will support the weight of an average rhinoceros?
