Just heard Caleb Kelly on the local news claiming that this was now HIS defense. We could be in trouble again because Kelly has not came close to living up to the expectations. I could be wrong but I just don't see a major defensive improvement in the near future.

Let's hope there's drastic improvement. It's certainly possible. We don't hear about too many of our linebackers until their junior year. There have been some exceptions.

good point.........I don't know how much bigger he can get though. He is a good player but not living up to the 5 star rating

That's if he can maintain or improve his quickness.

I don't care how big the players are. We need some that can actually hit.

Roy was only 215-220, but no one ever commented on him needing to gain size. That's because he hit well. His size was never in question. Even at only 6'0" 220lbs, there were always talks about him moving up to linebacker especially when he became too slow for an NFL safety.

Monday evening, it looked like only a 170lb true freshman wanted to do any hitting (Tre Norwood).
