Good for Justin!! I didn't think he would stick around Memphis for too much longer before a bigger program came calling. He has some HUGE shoes to fill at VT.

I thought that was strange myself. Maybe they should have just promoted one of them instead of dictating to a new coach......

Fuente and demond parker man... wow.. 1996 baby... love it.. always liked Justin, and it's crazy how he has ascended to such incredible heights..
Just my personal opinion (which is worth nothing) but I think Justin could have held out for a better job in a year or so. LSU? USC west?
Va Tech is perfect I think. Lower expectations with a lot more $$$ and still room for growth if he's successful.
I have a sneaking suspicion that VTech beat LSU to the punch, which explains the odd timing of their announcement that Les would be back...
And he doesn't even have to pick his coaches..............HA!
I initially assumed the two holdover coaches would retain their OC and DC titles, but the reports I've heard just said they will remain on staff. You would think Justin would keep them as position coaches if he wanted to bring in his own coordinators. Coaches have been retained many times but I thought along a point of it in this case was strange.
