So the daughter had a dance tonight so I couldn't watch the game live - 2nd week in 3 and it was actually relaxing. Anywho, I just heard the announcers say that the past 3 weeks heading in to this game OU was dead last in pass defense in the country...
I get that we play in a high powered conference but I m not buying that it is just the conference. We have 3 teams in the top 25 in total offense (not counting OU) and the next one is 41 (texas). I am tired of the drum beating that it is just too high powered and everyone gives up points at an astounding rate that is BS.
I know it is hard to complain when we are 11-1 but good lord our defense is just plain incompetent and it has gotten worse every single week. I don't get how you can be out of position on almost every single play.
I know we won and it was because somehow we managed to get a scoop and score so the defense will get all the praise for the win but Jesus. We are Oklahoma, we win with good to great defenses, not something that looks like it rolled out of Hinton High School....
