I get the wholesale funk everyone is in about OU football.
We've had an extended dry spell that would eclipse an ugly, dorky teenage boy.

However, and in spite of the fact that you have watched it well over fifty times, punch up the entire 2000 OU/Nebraska game on Youtube.

It's just riveting really.
You have OU #2 playing Nebraska #1 in the polls...right there alone you've got drama that's off the charts.
Then you factor in spotting the Huskers 14 points early on, you have the makings of an epic struggle for OU to make a statement to the whole damn world.

The really cool thing is that 14 points Nebbish got early on was it!
The defense and special teams took over and allowed Josh to get into a rhythm that proved to be the Huskers undoing.

I shouldn't have to sell this to you guys...just watch it and believe that history will repeat itself and we'll be looking down on the masses again from the mountaintop.
Gives me a warm fuzzy...

People tore down the goal posts and tried to take one up the north stadium to toss it over the top. People got pepper sprayed. A lot of people got pepper sprayed. It was a great day to be working at the stadium.

Yep Medic, even coach Stoops took in a couple of huffs of the pepper spray, and according to witnesses he was actually digging on it.

Good times!
