So I was looking at Tren'Davian Dickson's ridiculous stats from last year, and it occured to me, if one WR had that many yards and TD's, their QB's stats must be good too right?
Well their QB, junior Shelton Eppler finished his season with 5444 YARDS, 71 TOUCHDOWNS AND 10 INTERCEPTIONS. He set the record for passing TD's in a season along with Dickson's receiving TD record.
I mean holy crap.
My question is, why doesn't he have a Rivals page? Sure he is a little small at 6' and 185 pounds, but lets not act like Kyler Murray is the greek god Achilles in pads or anything.
Is he not being recruited by even small schools? I mean he has to have some sort of arm talent to lead his team to a Texas state championship as a junior, throw 71 tds and over 5,000 yards. Not even saying he is OU caliber or anything, but what am I missing here? Look at the last 10 players on Josh's sooner state rankings, they have a combined 4 offers for 10 players, to: Navy, Eastern Illinois, LA Monroe, Louiseville, with one kid providing 3 of them. Surely he is on their level.
