What do you think the reason is that Alex Ross has continued to return kickoffs? Aside from a few returns he has been mediocre at best. He's not elusive, not a particularly powerful runner, doesn't appear as fast as he was last year, doesn't make good decisions, doesn't appear to have good vision, and doesn't seem to protect the ball very well. It's obvious that teams make sure the ball is kicked in his direction instead of Duron Neal. I don't mind a guy playing when at least some kind of argument can be made on his behalf, but in this case it just seems incredibly obvious that the kickoff return game could be upgraded instantly by putting Daniels or Quick or Westbrook etc... back there. I just can't believe that Stoops and his staff really believe that Ross is the best option. Is Ross just a player that Stoops just really likes and is being loyal to a fault?
