John...Frickin...Wayne

He's got more attitude and skills than Holieway and Heupel combined. Hats off to Baker....you sir are the missing link. No offense whatsoever Shep and Perine....

Baker is a great football player. I think his best trait is his leadership abilities. The offense rallies behind him.

Holieway AND Heupel??? Hmmmm...might be a BIG stretch. Let's just say he has that "IT" factor that is rare...very rare.

Yep, I was going to start a thread about this shit, but I'll just coat tail off of you fellows.

First of all, Baker is the best.
He's the catalyst of this motley crew.

What's freakin' really cool is all we have to do is beat TCU and OSU and we are the sole champions of the Big 12!!

I think it's quite doable.

Wait and see. It's a done deal as far as I'm concerned...:D

We're kind of a big deal. ;)

I'm not going to make the comparison to Holieway. Very different kind of offense. But I will say this right now. IMO, Mayfield is a better QB than Heupel. Mayfield doesn't throw wobbly wounded ducks. That performance against Baylor may be the best QB performance I've ever seen from an OU QB.

I agree with this quote. Baker is just one of those guys the entire offense feeds off of, and he just has such a great ability for keeping plays alive and making things happen. What a great QB. Still hard to believe he literally just showed up at OU out of the blue and wanted to walk on. Just an incredibly story!!

Baker reminds me of Joe Montana, he's a gamer. He can will a team to victory. All season I've been scratching my head on why Tech would not give a Baker a scholarship. But we thank you.

Said the same after the Tennessee game. He threw the team on his back and said..."let's go win." Huge win for many reasons.

He's something special. We haven't had a leader like him in a long, long, time.

More like Columbo... on steroids. The Duke was six foot four.

You never knew what Columbo was going to do, but he WAS going to beat you. Similar hair styles.
