With OU having so many injuries to RBs and having to use a walkon, how would jet sweeps work as a new edition to the offense to spread the runs and allow a WR to threaten the edges and open the middle?

Why would you change your offense for an ISU? Adams and the walk-on will be fine at RB and let Baker and the WRs will do their normal thing.

There are a jillion versions of the sweeps that were run out of the old Wing T offense. The Wing T is a very different offense than what Riley runs or any contemporary teams as well. So, without changing the structure of the offense using the sweeps run out of the Wing T aren't possible. We already run some plays that are similar in look to the old jet sweeps. We've put WRs in motion and handed off the ball in plays that look exactly like the sweeps out of the Wing T.

As you know the old Wing T utilized a QB, FB, Blocking back and a Wing Back. There isn't much of that out there these days. However, lots of current teams run variations of the old Jet sweeps. I've linked the Wisconsin version of the jet sweep. We do something similar from time to time. But, we do it out of different formations. when you go to the below link you will have to toggle down to the videos.

jet motion is a type of motion by the flanker/wb. The
QB hands the ball off while the player is in motion. It is also run out of the gun, with a forward hand-off or a flip forward/shuffle pass. Oregon, Michigan and a various other teams do this. Wisconsin does it as you posted. I just thought it would help to take some heat off of the big guys up the gut and make the run game less predictable.
