OSU is missing two of their best three players on offense. We ought to have been stopping them. Chubba is really good. But when you gear everything to him, a good defense can stop him.
And ultimately, the Sooners did. Everybody is beat up right now. OU is missing key guys too. Apparently the wind made it a tough night to throw the ball, especially down the field. We managed the challenge better than they did.
We had some freshmen on the perimeter make some plays. A couple of fourth down plays made my night.

OU's 93 yard drive in the third quarter, which ate up 6-7 minutes and was into the wind, sealed the deal. There was about 2-1/2 to 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter when OU scored and when OU had the ball again, it had the wind to its back in the 4th quarter.
Mike Gundy cannot take OSU's program any higher. His play calling last night and yet another year of poor defensive play would drive me crazy if I were an OSU fan. He's been a great part of OSU's football history as a player and coach, but maybe his time has come.
