They would have gotten to know Riley -- not only the coach -- but the man, and they would have been blown away, especially if they dared to compare him to the other head coaches they've been dealing with.
It's a shame. Oklahoma is going to have a great team this year and even better teams in the very near future. He could have been part of -- maybe even been the key -- in them winning a national championship.
Without knowing his personal feelings, I got the sense Jeffrey wanted to visit today. I think the family was afraid they might get another flat tire and it would make them more tired and a they’d have to return money they’ve already spent..
In the end, Jeffrey probably would have trasferred from OU whether he visited Norman today or not. But he and his family missed out on a great time and a great weekend.
