I used to get real caught up in the guys who were possibly going to commit to us, which is the main reason I first joined this board some 9-10 years ago. Now, as I get older life happens and Ive realized I don't come to this board for recruiting much anymore. The interaction of rabid fans, practice reports, but mainly just all of Carey's input (kidding Carey)
This week I feel like I've been on a roller coaster. A great man in my life (my grandfather), who uses my account to get his fix from time to time on his beloved Sooners, diagnosed with cancer in the lungs and spine. To finding out I'm having a little boy today (already have a girl and we only wanted 2, so I was sweating bullets today). Keep things in perspective as we've been through a "rough" week In recruiting around here.
