Hello and how are you and the family doing David? We haven't visited in a coon's age. I'm attempting to figure out how long I've been on this board and hoping you might help. You, GolferJohn, SoonerMudd, DallasJim, TulsaSooner, et al, were already here when I arrived, but from looking at our membership numbers, not by much. You have the lowest number of any current fan from any school nation wide on Rivals/Yahoo. That is truly amazing.
I was thinking I started posting in 1995 or 1996, but I simply cannot remember. Josh is showing that I arrived in 2002 but that number is beyond ludicrous. (have no idea where Yahoo came up with it) When we began posting on here I'm guessing Josh was in Jr. High or early High School. Although I can disagree with him big time (not that often though) I'm impressed how quickly he has matured as a journalist. His interviewing skills have improved night and day. Wasn't Jeremy Crabtree the owner/hooking bull back then? Anyway, if your mind has held up better than mine (lol) and can remember, I'd appreciate if you can jog my brain a little. I recall us constantly discussing coaches Gibbs, Smellingburger, and Blake. (and Mack Brown) We were both confident that coach Stoops was a great hire. With Bob at the helm, OU ended up the # 1 college football program during the entire BCS era. That seem totally impossible, but is an absolute fact. Again, hope you can help a brother.
