I hope Diaco lets it be known that all jobs are up for grabs. One of the many problems Mike had was playing favorites...this is why Buzzy was so pissed Saturday. The dude was one of the few bright spots, and incredibly, Mike took him out and put Kelly in...Kelly is a favorite of Mike. Mike also (for whatever reason) did not like Levi Draper. Remember when Saban commented that Levi had some of the best instincts he'd seen in a HS LB?
Coach Diaco...burn the tapes. You have two weeks to start from scratch. If Barry can install the wishbone in a week, surely you can make a few tweaks and devise a defense that is fundamentally sound and aggressive.
I don't expect us to hold teams under 24 pts the remainder of the year. I will say though...all we needed was three stops last Saturday. THREE FVCKING THREE AND OUTS and we win that game. If we can get our efficiency ratings into THE 60th PERCENTILE we won't lose from here on out.
