Ironic...

What's sad is he's going to lose all $1300 of that cash (evidence *ahem*), and there's no way it was made in relation to the 20 pills of Xanax he had on him.

Probably made it selling coke.

OBLIGATORY EDIT: Since he's just a kid, I want to say that I'm totally joking. And although he's a Horn commit, I have no ill-will towards him. Every high school across America has a kid at school right now trying to move a few pills of Xanax which are just barbituates that simulate the feeling of being drunk without having to drink. That can be an attractive thing to kids that have trouble scoring alcohol.

However, Xanax can be a dangerous drug because it's commonly used in conjunction with drinking which amplifies the effects of both, and that can possibly lead to heart failure. On the other hand, half of soccer-mom America are taking Xanax and drinking a bottle of wine every night to cope with their failed dreams and lackluster marriages.

Watching the speech and prior speeches of other Presidents, why can't opposition party members stand and applaud to pro-American, inspiring comments? I get that people disagree about policies, but why is it OK to not applaud a general pro-American statement? For some reason, it really turns me to see half of the crowd standing and applauding a comment about America being a great country and the other half of the room just sitting and staring.

POTUS referenced quips and big achievements from two great former Presidents last night and added a few of his own and the country will hopefully come together and put USA first. Most of us were around to witness the 200th birthday; we need to have at least one more Natty before #250 in '26 !

It's exactly why the Dems have lost so much power and so many seats in Washington the past 8 years, and why the Repubs lost control of their parties direction this last presidential election and Trump defeated all of their establishment candidates on that side of the ticket. The people in this country have taken notice and they are tired of it. It's incredible the Dems are still blind to this and continue to go down the road of using the playbook of pure opposition. But at least this is showing the country as a whole what the Dems stand for and what they are all about. Not to say the Repubs are completely innocent, because they acted much the same way during Obama's tenure. But the Repubs felt the blowback from their base with Trump taking over the party. At least most of them appear to have had a realization as to what actually happened and have agreed to work with Trump.

Incredible. This thread about a whorn recruit selling drugs made it to three or four comments before it turned political. I used come here to get info and talk with others about the Sooners, but it seems like some people just can't get help but turn even the most mundane topic into something political. As Donald would tweet, "Sad, very sad."

...and EXTRA Punishment for me, for coming on here, stirring up a stink, and starting trouble! I deserve to be lashed to the bow of the Sooner Schooner and taken for a cruise over Niagara Falls...

How do you think the Sooners will do during the 2017 football season? You think they win the national title? :D

Oh, I've gotta 'ride shotgun' when we do this Senora ! Let's make plans soon to go sometime after MNC 8. I'm sure fitty will be there too...

Oh sure, I chimed in my share and apologize profusely.

Too bad for the unnecessary publicity and tarnishing rep of the HS in Janks !

Gman, No need to apologize. If you want to talk politics, start a thread and have at it. That way, those of us who choose not to talk politics can avoid those threads and focus on all things Sooner.

Speaking of fitty, ia...I would have thought he would have surfaced, by now, started his own board and sent for us. OUr meters are running and OUr clocks are ticking...Watching Paint Dry...Watching Grass Grow...We need his Levity/Levitas!

Unfortunately you'll have to discuss that with Management. I was told it was a trivial event that happens around here Daily. Trust me, he's always vigilant of us: he knows there are some of us that keep rocking the boat but it appears permanent so far. Fingers crossed for spring ball or k/o in the fall. Section 22 is also unfortunately gone for the foreseeable future (his choice, not permabanned) as is Tulsan
