I thought this was odd...Mangino's replacement as OC Is Todd Sturdy....the coach that Sturdy counts on to feed down Information from the booth on game day...Paul Wulff won't be there for the Oklahoma game.
It seems coach Wulff and family will be attending a birthday celebration In London OU weekend.
The media asked: On the responsibilities Paul Wulff will have and where he helps team the most:
"Paul is gone. He is on his way to London with his family. He had a pre-arranged trip, a birthday celebration. I knew that going into it. He left today and will be back next week. He's an outstanding football coach and has a great background on the offensive side of the ball.
"Being short a body, we needed a body that's very well versed with the front. Having help on that offensive line with the tight end position as far as protection as well as an understanding of what Todd's trying to accomplish and hammer that home. He was excellent in the box Saturday night in feeding down information of what was taking place as well as keeping Todd on track with down, distance and hash. We'll miss him this week for sure. We grinded him for 48 hours before he got out of here."

"I’ve seen Paul Wulff offenses before. I’m not sure firing Mangino and installing Wulff/Todd Sturdy makes much sense for Paul Rhodes".
