I have heard a lot about how tOSU plays better defense than OU and has been playing a lot better since the Purdue loss. I just don't see it!!
Since the Purdue loss on Oct 20th tOSU gives up about 33pts a game and since Oct 20th OU has given up about 38pts a game. The offensively inept MSU Spartans (2nd lowest scoring team in the Big 10) made a huge difference since tOSU only gave up 6.
If you look at the entire season OU has given up 84 more points than tOSU
If you look at the entire season OU has scored 84 more points than tOSU
I just think when teams are this evenly matched and the resume looks pretty much identical you have to look for 1 thing to separate them. I think that point is a 29 point loss to a 6-6 team.
