The number one Sooner women won, but buy only by three tenths of a point. This is actually a conference meet. Only three of the typical ten Big XII teams have women's gymnastics, so Denver is in the conference in this sport, only. There was only one 10.0 in the meet, by Denver.

And in addition to the curious scoring, Denver had a link to watch the meet from their official site. Cost ten bucks. I quit after 20 minutes when they site kept saying "Sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Complained to CBS carrying the meet only and finally got them to give me my money back.

The Sooners had only five of 24 scores in the meet over 9.9. In addition, they had three additional scores of 9.9 exactly. But typically, they score 49.5 or better in three or four events. In this meet the only event over that standard was 49.550 on beam.

Meanwhile the number 7 ranked hosts also had six scores over 9.9 including Lynnzee Brown's 10.0 on Floor. OU's highest scores were two 9.975's by Maggie Nichols on Bar and Beam. She won both events. Olivia Trautman's 9.9 was the highest score for either team on Vault. Maybe it was the altitude.
