And I'm not talking about Redmond. He had a great combine but lousy tape. But Michael Turk not being drafted, when at least one punter was, was very very surprising to me. At least now, he'll get a pretty good choice of where he goes. Maybe he'll get more money than he would have gotten as a 7th rounder.

No, but Looney's 43.4 punting average barely trailed Way's 44 punting average.
And way punted in the NFL for a decade and counting. Looney didn't last long. Then he went to India for a while.
Looney had only a five year (1964-69) pro career and his short career had nothing to do with his punting, but the fact he was a major "head case", as he was at OU.
