That said, some of you veteran posters around here know me as being pessimistic by nature. However, I still see improvement. The tackling is clearly better...that's what sticks out to me the most. I have noticed the DB's (particularly Parnell) actually turning their heads and locating the ball.
Also, I've gotta say, Tech was gifted 21 points. Two early picks deep in our territory that even a great "D" would have had problems keeping that offense out of the EZ. Couple that with Parnell's negated pick, and I think we did pretty well.
Many say we would have lost had their Frosh QB played in the second half, but I'll have you remember we were down by only three at the half, and 14 of their first half points basically came off of turnovers.
With all that said, I think we are continuing to see progress each week.
