If Baylor dismantles ut, will it hurt OU's placement in the final CFP?

I think OU is in, but I wouldn't want OU placed 4th instead of 1st or 2nd.

Its a total sum game - Baylor would move up. And we're not going to be placed 1st or 2nd (are you expecting both Bama and Clemson to lose their CCGs?). In fact, if other teams stand pat I'm positive the committee will move Iowa or MSU up to #3 for playing a CCG and sending a subtle notice to the BigXII that we need such a game, but at all events, we're in. I'm going to worry about playoff pole position about as much as I am about the violated feelings of oSu's Paddle People ( = A&M's Corps meets Biker Fox).

If everyone wins out there will be no movement in the top 4 with a few exceptions. If Bama wins unconvincingly we could see OU to #2 but I doubt it. The first two positions get "home field advantage". We could see OU move to #2 to satisfy placing OU in the Cotton Bowl as the #3 with home field advantage. The committee is about avoiding selection controversy also.

Yep, as I understand it, they're taking a lot of incoming for even having OU in the FOUR at all. The nut jobs from Notre Dame are flipping plum out.
We're solid as it is.
Let's hope it will survive all the tumult come Sunday.

ND lost the argument when they lost to Stanford. A two loss ND cannot be better than OU pure and simple. The way I see it is that no one can deny the winner of the MSU vs Iowa a spot. With the understanding that Clemson and Bama win.

There aren't any two teams I despise more than baylor or texas.
What I would like is for texas and art briles to lose and maybe
baylor win. How that happens I do not know. Just wishful thinking.
But one satisfying thought is OU is Big XII Champs and they don't
have to share that with anybody else. After the texas loss OU got
their problems fixed and went through the rest of the season like
Epsom Salts through a widow woman and they're still rolling.

Not worried about OU getting jumped by anyone. We are in the top four. It's now a matter of whether we'll be ranked 2, 3 or 4 depending on what happens in the ACC and B1G playoffs. Bama will destroy Florida in the SEC. Even if UNC upsets Clemson, I don't see UNC jumping form 10th to the top four. Nor do I see the Pac12 champ making it to the top 4,even if Bama and Clemson lose.
