There were SOOOOOOO many people on here last year who complained and whined and moaned and groaned about TK and how bad of a QB he was. They complained about coaching and schemes, etc.
Now, Bob made several coaching changes......recruiting is finally swinging the right directions (even looking good in the area that was MOST peoples' favorite target on here....Tim Kish and the LB's)
People complained about Diron Reynolds, etc.......and he seems to be doing a good job on the recruiting trail.
Now....we replace the object of many posters' ire....TK....we change QBs and throngs of people come out to BI%CH about Mayfield being the choice.
REALLY???!!!
Are there seriously THAT many supposed OU FANS...that are simply always so unhappy that they can never enjoy the moment and have some ounce of optimism? Or AT LEAST, give things a few weeks to play out to see how things go before IMMEDIATELY start complaining?
I don't have a perfect life, a perfect job nor am I eternally optimistic....but, if I were in some of your shoes I might rethink my life a little and get some priorities straight.
I LOVE OU sports......I suffer just like all of you do when things are down. I HATE that we have not played up to out potential or that things have gone down recently....but I also know that success is cyclical. It will change....it always does and it always will. I can at least see the positives that are going on and look forward to better things on the horizon. I would hope that MOST of us here can.
I know some of you will rip me or bring some negative comments.....I might even deserve a few but please....lighten up a little bit. You guys start to depress the rest of us.
