is so fearsome and all, they are the only team from their conference to make it to one of the 'original premier' bowl games. Iowa earned their shot at the Grandpappy (go cardinal), tOSU gained the newer Fiesta (destroy the domers), we need you at your best for early next year and will welcome you to Norman! Yet that leaves us with two teams from the Same State and conference for the Sugar and Orange... There is good reason while we are proud to say "there is only One Oklahoma" OK !!
One last late edit: I didn't intentionally forget sparty & bama; the Cotton was never considered one of the marquee bowls (in my lifetime); just because its in Jerrah dome and houses two of the contenders is the 'luck of the draw'. That venue has NOT been kind to us ever, yet!
