It's the best win since beating Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
Depending on how Ohio State does this season, last night's game might be considered the best win since 2000.
2000 had 5 big wins, capped off by Florida State.
Alabama was a great win too, but I believe losing to Auburn in the "pick six" game had a negative effect on the Tide's psyche....and Alabama did not want to be in the Sugar Bowl to play such an unworthy team (in their minds) as OU.

Big for sure. A road win against the #2 team and what is considered the 2nd best coach in the country. Even bigger being Riley's 2nd game.
Ya I agree that Alabama really was down mentally for their game against OU. No doubt that was a big factor in OU winning that night. But national perception it's right up there with last night's game. Sadly the rewards from the Alabama win were quickly offset by a 5 loss season the following year.
