Surprise! I'm going a bit against the grain. I think our first 4 opponents were diverse enough scheme/athletically to really prep our players for the XII schedule.
Cliché: Iron sharpens Iron can be a reality if our players respond with a new level of toughness which I believe they will. You can't live on your reputation and you're only as good as your last play.(more clichés)
The next two weeks will say a lot about this team and if they've taken away valuable lessons from these first four opponents.
Thought there was some flakey play calls where we lost some continuity (felt a bit like Georgia second half) on two key possessions in the second half.
I thought our front 7 played tough but our DB's were exposed for softness, we have 0 KO artists in our D backfield.
Thought our WR blocked like shit on the perimeter, they are a bit on the flaccid side.
Rodney being gone hurts bad!
