I have seen several whorns claim Texas is the new QB1.. I think you would need a little recent history to claim this.

Colt McCoy had some success in the RRS.. But Arlington / Kansas city was a little hard for him. He wad to wait for coach Stoops run through most of his 1st team starters on the depth chart and OU begin a so called rebuilding year even though he did have his Heisman trophy winner back in the main spot.
