Okay, I'll wait on plaino............HA!

K2C, they changed the rules pretty substantially on GA's a year or two ago and I'm not sure of all the rules after the changes. I've read multiple places the this if Viney's last season as a G.A. I do know that there is a time limit on how long someone can be a G.A. There is a limit on what they can be paid. I don't know what the specifics are, but GA money is not a living wage for anything long term. It's designed to get talented people into the culture and so they can set up a personal network to move into real coaching positions after a couple of years.

I also know that Viney is valued. But unless somebody is leaving, there won't be an opening. And they can't keep him as a G.A. So he'll likely be moving on. The NCAA has rules on how many coaches a staff can have. So they can't add him unless somebody leaves. That's about all I know.

I read on another site where Richt took a GA with 3 years service to his coaching staff from Arkansas. I guess it's a little confusing..
