Wanted to see what everyone thinks. Obviously this is very hypothetical, and we need to see major improvement before anyone would buy into it.

We should beat Maine this week........... then say we continue the offensive improvement into Missouri who could likely be starting Pyne at QB, and we could have Burks/Farooq back? (Very possible W)

Then a bye week to get more people healthy and continue working the offense with Joe Jon/Kevin Johns. (Who else do we foresee realistically returning from injury by Bama?)

The game in Oxford was very winnable against a good team, on the road. We fell apart, and the defense in the 2nd half was just as much to blame, but we were definitely the better team in the 1st half.

If Sexton is healthy we could continue building on the offensive performance, and say by some miracle we win out..

8-4 with a few big wins, and 3 of our 4 losses to likely all top 10 teams in the country. South Carolina could be top 25 soon (has been good besides the Ole Miss loss).

Where would the pulse of the program be at that point? Where would we be at on a new OC/BV wanting to retain the current guys? What bowl do we think we're in at that point?

Very longshot, but we could go from feeling completely lost to having some very solid momentum into 2025 in the matter of just 4 games. A bowl win and you're 9-4, but hopefully we wouldn't lose the urgency from donors and others to go out and fix big problems in the upcoming offseason...

Interesting to think about.

On the flip side/more likely side - we're 5-7 on the cusp of even making a bowl game or not, and the fan base is at Joe C's door.. 🙃
