Spell check... it is whorns...
That is very debatable...As much as I despise the Shortwhorns, UT provides the best academics of all the public universities in Texas. They have a great law school as well.
Ignorance is bliss... we are ALL blissfully ignorant of many things, myself included. I am not ignorant of the fact that texASS fans, students, players, coaches, etc. are indeed "whorns." My dad taught me that very early in life...He just keeps us ignorant folks like me on their toes.![]()
Yep, I was taught that when I was old enough to talk. They will always be them damn WHORNS. And other expletives.....Ignorance is bliss... we are ALL blissfully ignorant of many things, myself included. Just like everything else they do. Gosh they are a bunch of Whorns.Of the top 25 public universities in the state of Texas the whorns have the second lowest acceptance rate for potential students. aTm accepts over 70% of qualified students while texASS only accepts 39.7%. They ignore their own admittance standards to "cherry pick" those they want. You can meet all the requirements to attend UT-Austin and you are more likely to be denied enrollment there.
Yeah well, my sister got her MBA from UT in 2010 and now works for the United Nations in Vienna. They are picky indeed, but those who are picked can graduate and go on to outstanding professional careers.Of the top 25 public universities in the state of Texas the whorns have the second lowest acceptance rate for potential students. aTm accepts over 70% of qualified students while texASS only accepts 39.7%. Yet the facts show aTm is the better school... #6 vs #70 here... Service rank of #1 vs #184Yeah well, my sister got her MBA from UT in 2010 and now works for the United Nations in Vienna. They are picky indeed, but those who are picked can graduate and go on to outstanding professional careers.
Have you been to Austin?I also hear TAMU produces a lot of sheep-humpers and other perpetrators of bestiality acts. Didn't you hear about those students who ejaculated on a dead canine last spring?
Yet you compare aTm to them...Yes. I even interned there once.
I compared UT's academics to aTm's.Yet you compare aTm to them...

Chuy’s restaurant applicants are asked to draw their favorite cartoon characters and go through two to three interviews to make sure they have a distinct personality, said Ashley Ingle, director of marketing. The restaurant chain’s five Austin locations employ about 670 people with many backgrounds, from college students to older people who have returned to the workforce, she said.

And I've proven that texASS cherry picks their students, fewer graduate, and those who do get jobs that pay less money... You still care to argue academics?I compared UT's academics to aTm.

Draw me a cartoon of how to repair an electronic fuel injection system on a 2007 GMC...You have to draw cartoons to get a job at Chuy's, huh? That actually sounds fun. I wish all job interviews went like that.
You just proved my point. Do you not know how to read?
Maybe not. I only read where UT ranked 78th and A&M at 111th. Wasn't that your point? You just proved my point. Do you not know how to read?
From your link, which is one I provided earlier...Maybe not. I only read where UT ranked 78th and A&M at 111th. Wasn't that your point?
Okay, but you continue to insinuate that A&M provides better academics. A&M is a great agricultural school and certainly the best in Texas in that regard. But UT's overall academics outclass A&M's in a very significant way. From your link, which is one I provided earlier...

Certainly doesn't help your argument where UT's acceptance rate is significantly lower.
I don't insinuate it at all. I've proven it. Repeatedly.Okay, but you continue to insinuate that A&M provides better academics. A&M is a great agricultural school and certainly the best in Texas in that regard. But UT's overall academics outclass A&M's in a very significant way.
So why do they earn less money per graduate? Why do fewer graduate? But UT's overall academics outclass A&M's in a very significant way.
Okay first off, I hate Texas. I'm a Sooner fan.I don't insinuate it at all. I've proven it. Repeatedly.
You can come in here being a whorn lover all you want. I've shown the fallacy of your argument and you still don't get it. I believe this is from your crappy education. Did you flunk out of texASS? You admit to being an intern in Austin and brag about a sibling who went there...
It's a fine debate really, but the money argument is irrelevant as A&M grads average only $1,000 more per year.So why do they earn less money per graduate? Why do fewer graduate?
Their "academics" myth has been destroyed by facts...
Bring some academic "facts" to the table...
