We’re gonna get to see what kind of true depth we have in the WR room now. Hate to lose a guy like Anthony. He was our deep threat & could really take the top off of the defense with his speed.
WR corps now has Stoops, Farooq, Thompson, Freeman, Anderson, Pettaway and Graham. That's at least 5 decent receivers and if Graham can start contributing in his final year that makes six decent receivers.
Anthony's injury will require the other receivers to step up and I believe they will.
On a positive note, Anthony is listed as a junior and there are 5 other WR's returning next year.
Plus, there are, right now, 5 WR commitments in the 2024 class.

Yes that was one real downer after the game. He was a true deep ball weapon. Time for all the others to step up. Hope the offense rolls on …looking at the Big 12 opponents left…I can see lots of yards being racked up.
With the bye week here look for Brenen Thompson to fill in for Anthony. Thompson may not have the experience that Anthony has but the dude is probably the fastest player on the team. I would like to see Graham get involved hes made some big time plays as a Sooner DB, lets see what he can do as a WR.
He was definitely a newcomer of the year candidate. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
Has Thompson been playing much? Did he get much of an opportunity to be a starter based on the timing of his transfer? Just curious why he transferred from TX and if he has the potential to be big time? I am aware of his elite speed from when we recruited him out of HS.
Horrible news. Anthony is a beast. No doubt in my mind we have the depth. Farooq is starting to shine. We'll be fine.
