I would think having one coach over the entire secondary will cut out at least 5-10 busts/big plays per year. You would have to think at least a few busts were because of miscommunication. You already have to have consistent communication between all of the players and on top of that you had to have the same between the two coaches. Cutting out a layer can't hurt.
