The true all time homerun leader and a player who overcame so much. I do not believe there was a greater player.

RIP Hank one of my favorite players growing up. Still have his Milwaukee Braves baseball cards.

I saw Aaron hit #712 on 9/22/73 in the Astrodome. A three run shot that ultimately won the game for the Braves, 4-2.

As a Braves fan (through my dad) going back to Milwaukee, my admiration/fandom for Henry Aaron spanned my entire life. I'm truly at a loss for words.

I feel very fortunate to have seen Superstars play in person. Hank drilled 2 homers when I saw him.

Heard yesterday--Take away Hanks 755 home runs and he still has over 3,000 hits.
Wow.

I heard he hit 72 home runs against eventual hall-of-fame pitchers, the most ever. Not bad for a guy who wasn’t allowed to play high school baseball.
