• Oklahoma outgained Tulsa in the first half, 371 total yards to 200 (10.3 yards per play to 4.7). OU averaged 16.6 yards per completion in the first half.

• The Sooners scored on five of their six first-half possessions.

• Oklahoma’s 35 points are its most scored in the first half of a true road game since the 2020 season (led Texas Tech 48-14 at halftime in Lubbock).

• OU registered three interceptions in the first quarter for the first time since the 2020 Cotton Bowl vs. Florida. The three INTs were by sophomore DB Gentry Williams, junior LB Danny Stutsman (TD) and junior DB Kendel Dolby.

• The OU defense had three takeaways in the first half, and now has six takeaways through two-and-a-half games this season. OU’s committed its first turnovers of the season in the first half today.

• QB Dillon Gabriel completed 19 of 22 passes (86%) for 315 yards and four touchdowns in the first half for a 257.5 pass efficiency rating. He completed his first 10 passes of the game and 15 of his first 16, and his second-quarter interception was his first turnover of the season (he was hit on the throw).

• Gabriel has accounted for 11 touchdowns (10 passing, one rushing) and one turnover through his eight quarters this season (he did not play second half vs. Arkansas State).

• Gabriel has completed 80% of his passes this season (57 of 71) and has compiled a 218.5 passing efficiency rating. He entered the game ranked seventh nationally in completion percentage (.776) and fifth nationally in passer rating (200.2).

• WR Drake Stoops caught six passes for 31 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. This is his first career game with multiple touchdown receptions. He scored both TDs in the first quarter on a pair of four-yard receptions.

• Stoops surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards in the first quarter. He now has 1,018 yards on 92 career receptions.

• WR Jalil Farooq notched his second touchdown reception of the season on a 34-yard play on OU’s first offensive possession.

• WR Nic Anderson scored his first career touchdown on a 28-yard reception in the second quarter.

• Stutsman returned an interception for a touchdown in the first quarter. It was his third career INT and first of the season. His pick-six was OU’s first since the 2020 Cotton Bowl (Tre Norwood vs. Florida).

• Sophomore DB and Tulsa Booker T. Washington High School product Gentry Williams registered his second career interception on OU's first defensive possession of the game.

• Junior college transfer DB Kendel Dolby registered his first interception at OU on a play in the first quarter.

• Freshman DB Peyton Bowen made his first career start while sophomore RB Jovantae Barnes made his first start of the season.
