Very happy for the Sooner program and the Sooner Nation. Great win tonight! Very happy for Bob Stoops. He made the changes needed to improve the program & beating Baylor in Waco offers him some validity in that endeavor.

Hell yes it's a great win!!! And a great building block to keep moving forward. OU still has two more lethal opponents to take care of. This was just the first of the 3 toughest games of the season. Can't sit around celebrating and high-fiving too long. The team now just needs to get back to preparing for the next game and do it again.
I do think what we are seeing with how well this team is playing, and playing better and better as the season goes along is a direct result of Bob overhauling his staff the last few seasons. I have no doubt about that. I think Bob has assembled another great staff to get the OU program back to the level he knows it should be.

With the losses in the PAC yesterday, Stanford and Utah, that only leaves OU and Notre Dame left for the last playoff team, IMO. And, since Stanford lost, a ND win isn't going be as impressive as had they beat a one loss Stanford team. Besides, given a choice between a one loss OU squad versus a one loss ND team, I think the CFP committee would have to consider that a OU - Clemson game would trump a rematch between the Tigers and Domers. Everything that OU needed to make the playoffs happened yesterday. Now it's all up to the team and coaches to win out. Unbelievable when you think about how the world felt after the RRR.

The only thing ND has going for them is that they killed Texas and have only lost to the #1 team according to CFP committee,

I could be wrong, but an undefeated Iowa is not something that should be ignored. If they happen to beat tOSU in a Champ game, they're in. What happend then to tOSU?
