Need to show some class. No need for what some of the ou team did after the game.

I agree that its better to show class especially when you are 21-10 against SEC teams excluding Missouri and Texas A&M. If you add the two ex-Big 12 teams in, OU's record against SEC teams is something like 106-46. I'm off a bit but not much. Really, the Sooners have performed well against the SEC, so better to just handshake hands and go celebrate with the fans and you teammates.

I read where the crowd gave there OU players grief going in the tunnel at half time. The taunting after the game may have been payback. Either way better to walk out with a classy win.

I bet none of those taunting fans were around after the interception. Fans like that get the hell out of town as soon as possible after witnessing something like the Sooners pulled off last night, so keep it classy. According to the announcers, apparently UT fans aren't accustomed to blowing a 17 point lead. It's been 25 years since the Vols have lost after being ahead by 17 points at Knoxville. Could that be possible? If so, it makes our win even sweeter. Jake, may can tell us. I'm sure he would know.

Horn fans are losing there minds on OB.... They just knew OU was going to get beat down LOL! Now all the sudden Tennessee is a bad team and they can't wait to see OU play a good team. I guess we will find out when OU plays West Virginia

Well in all fairness, OU fans over in the premium board game thread were in full throttle meltdown last night prior to OU coming back. So keep that in mind before laughing about other teams fans melting down since OU fans weren't much better last night.
OU fans certainly felt a little taste of karma last night before thankfully OU put it together and won.

OU fans had every right to be in melt down mode through 3 quarters last night. Texas will win 4 games so I could care less about any karma.

Rice put 28 points and 462 yards on that ferocious D of the shorthorns. While celebrating that Heard is the second coming of Vince Young, they should realize the Horn offense managed a whopping 277 yards against that terrorizing Rice defense.

They want OU to lose more than they want UT to win since they know their season is going to suck.

No they didn't. The game was actually never really out of reach. Two TDs in a wide opened offense scheme is not much these days. I posted as much at half time last night that the game was not over.

I'm not sure who deleted my thread regarding the couple of players that lost their composure at the end of the game, but someone did. It didn't ruin my enjoyment of the win, but I'd prefer that it didn't happen. The two fan bases as a whole enjoyed each other and the game.

I had one of my posts delete too. So did others. Rivals had big problems last night. I think they did a restore on the server and some posts turned up missing for not being backed up.

Ya I think it hit around 1000-1015pm...Rivals took a crap and when it came back up like 15min later there was a rollback with posts and threads deleted back to a certain point. At least that's exactly what I noticed after it came back up from being down for a bit.

Good to hear this. My post was during this timeline so perhaps it was flushed as an inadvertant whistle.

BTW, Gramps, it wasn't a good win... it was a GREAT win!

The Vols have only blown a 17-point lead at Neyland once...
