GOOD LUCK, Trae!

I wish him the best and glad he chose to be a Sooner. Now Lon needs to head back to the drawing board and put together a team that he can build on and will get OU back to winning. I'm still not ready to kick Lon to the curb, but OU deserves better than .500 basketball after 7 seasons.

That's a bold prediction, since Russell Westbrook is the only player in the league averaging more than 10 (10.2), and only a handful have averaged 11 or more in the past 6 or 7 years.

But who knows?

If his focus isn't on scoring first, he'll have a solid chance I believe (I wasn't meaning as a rookie BTW). Trae had a buttload of assists left on the court based on missed jump shots from teammates created by Trae, or turning the ball over in a clogged lane because everybody was standing and watching.

I think Trae's style of play is nearly perfect in today's NBA, if he dials back on his shot attempts.
