Last year Thanksgiving was bad. The family accumulated over 400 miles hitting 3 different Thanksgiving meals with various cousins and relatives. Time with family was great but we headed back to work exhausted on Monday. This year we're headed to the Allegheny's to meet some friends for a Friends-giving/OU football weekend. @Eddie_Rado , there will be GBC.

There are plenty of great rentals within an hour of Morgantown in Western Maryland (Deep Lake) and Southwest Pennsylvania (Ohiopyle & Farmington) should you get the itch and have the disposable income.

For game day I highly recommend the Blue Lot close to kick off for gratuitous food and beverage handouts. If you want to start your game day early, there is a huge bowling alley sports bar close to campus http://suburbanlanes.com/. You'll be out of the cold there until you’re ready to head over to the stadium. Morgantown is a good time. Their fans were friendly for a group that hasn't beaten us in their Big 12 tenure. Buy tickets in Section 99, bring an apatite for Yuengling, low defensive expectations, and bundle up.
