yea, that's what this is lately. Has there been some kind of mass exodus I don't know about?

It's the offseason for football and recruiting is over. For whatever reason, this board doesn't get too excited for basketball even when our team is pretty good. Unless you're a hoops fan of a team like Kentucky or Kansas, traffic for most school message boards trends down this time of year.

Bottom line is we're in the "dog days" of the annual sports calendar. NCAA hoops is a month away; the Super Bowl is over; baseball opening day is a couple of months off--you get the idea. Why do you think (50 years ago) Sports Illustrated started publishing the annual swimsuit issue during this time of year?

I think that Josh's penned uh admonition has encouraged some who like to stir the waters, to either back off (like I've tried to do) or maybe hang out less frequently.

Some may have actually been disciplined. Don't know about any of it, but each are a possible contributor to the slowness right now.

And some may be busy with their typical Valentine's Day endeavors.

Lol...Valentine's Day endeavors?? Maybe for Senior Sooner. Unless it's a weeklong family event at the trailer park, I just don't see it. :)

I know this seems weird, but I never see trailer parks anymore. Have they kind of disappeared?

There is one left in Plano. There used to be more. But the one in Plano is on the Central Expressway service road. Everything else has disappeared for new houses.

Which brings up the question, where does everyone on here stand with SI's new plus-size model, Ashley Graham?
I'm onboard.

I think it's several things. Some were here just to argue, some are busy and as stated this is the slow part of the year

I've been under heavy doses of Nyquil during the day and working at night. This day 7. It might be time see a doc and get some antibiotics.

I've been coughing and sore throat for atleast 4 or 5 days now. And it's the same with me, I'm taking nyquil but it just isn't doing the trick. Lack of sleep is making me grouchy lol

There are a lot of "mobile home parks." You just have to know where to look. Glenn Heights, the home of the UConn All-American point guard, has one of the largest mobile home parks that I have ever seen. There are at least three in Lancaster, all rather small, maybe forty homes each. There are at least four in Wilmer, one of which has over 160 homes, another of which is very new and modern. On 175 extending SE of Dallas, there are a few within the Dallas city limits, and probably another two to three hundred homes in parks just outside the city limits toward Seagoville. There are several in the Rockwall area, both near 40 and north of the city on state highways. I don't know where Plano ends and the Wylie area begins, but there are a few parks in that area. There are some good size parks just south of the highway between McKinney and Denton near the lake area. They are all over the metroplex. You just have to know where to look.

Most of the space between Plano and Wylie involves several small towns. There are some common boundary areas. But most of the space between Plano and Wylie are either in Murphy or Parker. Murphy is along Murphy Road and includes the area where Southfork is. You've heard of that?

Heard of it. Had no idea where it was. I paid more attention to Hagman in I Dream of Jeannie than in Dallas. I've seen Mary Martin's house, but not Larry's.

Well yeah...they're all over Oklahoma too. Tornado magnets. Is there a question regarding their existence??

They have mobile home parks around Austin and Lake Travis and always will, I think it's a necessity in this country.

Probably got the same thing. It's everywhere. I've had multiple friends with this crap and only antibiotics and steroids take care of it. If I still got it by Wednesday I'm taking advantage of the free, on sight nurse to write me a scrip.
