I don't want to sound unappreciative...any time we can get money to expand and better our product, it's a good thing. HOWEVER, I'm severely bummed about the scaling back of the original renderings.
Are you generally excited about what will be done to our facility? After this first phase, where will Owen Field rank with other national venues such as Ohio State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State (sadly), Texas, Oregon, etc...
Also, do you think phase two will begin in the next five years? I HATE playing second-fiddle to anyone. I just want to make sure that we are (at the very least) staying in the conversation with the big boys facility-wise.
