For those who watch film, how many of our runs were RPO's or actual run plays? I know many were read options, but did we eliminate the "P" element more last night?
If so, it would make sense why...
...Arnold played so mistake free by having to process less.
...the OL played the way they did by being able to actually attack off the line of scrimmage. (And having less to process.)
In general, we only threw 11 passes. My guess is that X hasn't seen the field much yet because he struggles with processing pass protection, as any freshman would. He didn't have to do much of that last night.
Might be time to give JJF some flowers for getting the most out of his players and getting the best players on the field through his game plan. It's not a plan that can work throughout a season, but it worked to perfection last night.
