Stats are all fun and good so I wanted to just dive in and look at them side by side. No surprises on D (of course) but what's more notable is the offensive output comparing Lebby and TBOW.
Lord knows it's going to take a little time for V to get (his) style of players in but I am still very curious as what he will do with the current crop of players. Lebby as well to some extent but the cubbard is not bare on the O side of things. Let's take a look see.
2017-2018 UCF/Ole O OU O Clemson D OU D
Scoring #1 Scoring #3 Scoring #2 Scoring #85

2021-2022 Scoring #24 Scoring #8 Scoring #2 Scoring #76

Of note December of 2019 Lebby went to Ole Miss. Ole Miss O ranked 82nd in Scoring and 26th overall. The improvement in year one of his tenure for 20-21 is glaring to #14 & #3.
As for the D side of things well thats no fing surprise. The good thing is that we have the Clemson staff and not just the coach that can bring about change. In time.....in time...in time.
Look we all know that stats don't win ball games but damn it if this is where we are headed we are in a much better position to make a dent in the playoffs. I just dont see a drop off in O production if history is an indicator. I would trade Lebbys production for TBOWS if I could take V's defense with me. Screw the heismans....give me the NC's.
Any ways this was just something fun to put together. Don't @ me with any BS but if you are inclined to drill down a bit more on the stats go for it.

Sorrry for the formatting issue. Every time I save it jumbles all the numbers. How does this happen @Carey Murdock ?
