Just realized I didn't do this for Daniels...
*He is Oklahoma's fourth commitment from the state of Texas in the class of 2016, the fewest they've had from Texas at the same point since the class of 2012 when the Sooners had pledges from Kyle Marrs, Daniel Brooks, John Michael McGee, and Trevor Knight.
*For all of the great talent at Euless (Texas) Trinity down the years he would be only the second Trojan to sign with the Sooners, joining current Sooner senior offensive lineman Nila Kasitati. Of course those who remember Kasitati's classmate at Trinity, athlete Brandon Carter was also committed to Oklahoma before flipping to TCU.
*He is the No. 19 defensive tackle in the country, and No. 210 overall, the only defensive lineman on campus more highly ranked coming out of high school is current freshman Neville Gallimore.
*He is the third Rivals250 defensive tackle Oklahoma has signed in the last two classes.
*He is the second player from his area currently committed to Oklahoma following 2017 Rivals250 safety Robert Barnes.
