*Bledsoe marks the third time Oklahoma has landed the No. 1 player in the state of Kansas, following Justin McCay in 2010 and Jordan Phillips in 2011.
*From Lawrence, he is the fifth four-star that the Sooners have landed from Kansas since 2002. Interestingly he is only the second that isn't from the general Wichita area (though that stretches a bit with Geneo Grissom) following McCay - from Kansas City.
*Of note? Only McCay was not an NFL draft pick as a four-star Kansas prep product. Would seem a good sign for Bledsoe's future.
*He is the first prep commitment from Kansas since Phillips in the class of 2011.
*He is the No. 122p player overall, the highest ranked defensive end Oklahoma has landed since Justin Chaisson in the class of 2009.
Will keep looking for more here but thought this was a pretty interesting
