It’s quite possible following OSU’s loss to Kansas St. Here’s how.
+ OU wins out (3 conf losses today). Look, we can lose the next four or win the next four. Our tougher games are at home (Baylor, OSU), with Tech and West Virginia as winnable road games.
+ OSU’s third conf loss would come against OU.
+ Texas beating KSU would give the Wildcats three conf losses.
+ Texas losing to TCU gives the Longhorns three conf losses.
So, I’m not sure how a four way tiebreaker works it’s way out. But we run the distance with six straight wins, and we could very well find ourselves back in the Big XII conversation. Not bad given the disaster we were facing just two weeks ago.
