For quite sometime, it's been rumored that Mike has been feeding inside information to certain members of the media regarding the football program in exchange for favorable coverage.
Today around 3:30, a guy called in critical of Mike, and Traber absolutely lit the caller up saying that Mike is a great defensive coordinator and needs awhile to get this problem fixed. He then went on to say that he was almost beat up Saturday night after the game by angry OU fans who were chanting for Mike to be fired, and they hated him (Traber) for the fact that he took up for him (Stoops). Traber went on to say that much like Venables, if Mike were fired, he would go elsewhere and be a superstar. He then made the comment that Big 12 offenses are impossible to stop, and OU fans who want Mike fired are idiots.
