If OU signs the class predicted by Scoop then OU would end up getting 7 commitments between now and Wednesday. From what I can tell, that would result in OU having a final point tally of about 2246 in points. To translate, if each of those players were committed today OU would be presently ranked number 7 and that point total would have finished #14 in last year's list (exactly what OU finished last year).
If OU finished without Southall and Blue and instead received signatures from Tupai (looks promising), Daniels (as predicted by Howell at OBs) , Mayden ( more of a possibility than being reported) and Velus Jones (seems like the logical conclusion given his recruiting saga), OU would end up with 2390 in points. If everyone were committed today in this last paragraph then OU would presently be ranked #3 and that total in points would have finished #12 in last year's talley.
The really interesting aspect unique to this year is that it looks very much like 1/2 of our class will jump on board during the last 5 days of recruiting. It will be an interesting ride, especially if Kelly is in our class. Either way, we have a really good chance of finishing within the top 15 or so.
